Meis Hotel

With only 12 guestrooms and suites, the Meis Hotel is a boutique resort located on the Cukurbag Peninsula of Kas, Turkey. It’s one of the more affordable such resorts on the peninsula so it offers excellent value to those who want to stay in the relaxed hotel district.

There is a private beach and salt-water swimming pools, but the main activity seems to be resting in the gorgeous Mediterranean sun. The hotel gets its name from the Greek island of Meis directly opposite its beach. The quiet location is ideal for many, and this is where you’ll find the most expensive resort hotels in Kas, but it’s not a great fit for those who want to participate in the nightlife in the town center.

What the reviews say

Reviews of the Meis Hotel have been generally positive, though not universally so. Some guests appear to be disappointed in the secluded location out of Cukurbag Peninsula, which is a desirable feature for other people, especially families and those wanting a quiet and restful resort. The beach is not one of the best, according to the reviews.

This is one of the more affordable hotels out on the peninsula so it’s understandable that it won’t be as luxurious as nearby places charging double. As long as guests understand what they are booking, this should be a very good choice for value-minded couples and small families who don’t want to be close to the Kas nightlife.
